Are People Forgetting? These Are The Spice Girls

I know, I know. It's the hottest ticket in the world. They sold out the O2 Arena in London in 39 seconds. They are selling tickets faster than Miley Cyrus. It's the must-have ticket of the season. Blah, blah, blah. Do you lads suffer from amnesia? Were the mid 90's just a chronic smoking, grunge wearing blur? These are The Spice Girls we are talking about you wankers. I thought England was trying to forget about them much like we try forgetting that The Falklands War ever happened (except when playing against Argentina in football and rugby). Besides that robot also known as Victoria "Posh" Beckham, let me give you another reason why you should not be interested in seeing them perform:

Memory refreshed?

"Yo, I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want,
So tell me what you want, what you really really want,
I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want,
So tell me what you want, what you really really want,
I wanna ha, I wanna ha, I wanna ha, I wanna ha, I wanna really
really really wanna zigazig ah.

If you want my future forget my past,
If you wanna get with me better make it fast,
Now don't go wasting, my precious time,
Get your act together we can be just fine."

Now?

I'll be the first one to say it - I WAS A SPICE GIRLS FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scary Spice (Mel B) was my favorite just because I have big hair too I guess. But I am not ashamed to say that I once knew the words to all their songs even if they didn't make sense. They played that "wanna be" video so much that even my father knew who the Spice Girls were, and thats saying a lot. Just hearing that song takes me back to '96 :)

Would I go see them in concert now? If someone else bought the ticket I might be persuaded, but there are a lot more things I would rather spend my money on.

Scary Spice was my fav as well bc of her hair and last name:-) My friends and I were going to be them for Halloween in the 7th grade but don't know what happened. I used to love the Spice Girls...even though their lyrics didn't half make sense! But going to a concert of theirs...don't do concerts so I would rather watch on tv:-)

Im not going to lie, had a thing for sporty spice, sporty girls do it for me. But as far as their lyrics went, man they were awful.

and no way in hell am I going to go see them in concert, only if im allowed 1 on 1 with sporty.

I remember fondly driving down interstate 5 with my little sister - she popped in her CD...the spice girls began to play. After about 2 songs I ejected the disk and chucked it out the window frisbee style.

*Unfortunately I replaced it with Britney Spears - because she was a seemingly good influence back then. if I knew then what I know now - I would have let the Spice Girls play til her hearts content. LOL
